Customer Success Lead

TenderStria is building the AI that reads public-sector tenders so teams don't have to. Every working day, governments across 50+ countries publish thousands of contract notices, far more than any bid team can read. We ingest them all, translate and normalise them, and score each one for fit against a company's services, sectors and bid criteria, so teams open only the contracts genuinely worth pursuing. We're an early, deliberately small team building toward our first customers, with a product that already works.

About the role

A customer's first "this just found us a contract we'd have missed" is the moment that makes them a customer for life. Your job is to get every account to that moment quickly, and to keep them there, owning activation, retention, and the voice of the customer inside the company.

As an early customer-success hire, you'll define how we onboard, how we measure value delivered, and how we turn happy customers into references and expansions. You'll also be the clearest channel for what customers actually need, straight to product.

What you’ll do

  • ·Own onboarding and activation: get new teams to first value fast
  • ·Drive retention and expansion across the customer base
  • ·Define and track the metrics that show value delivered (time saved, fits surfaced, bids won)
  • ·Gather voice-of-customer systematically and feed it to product and GTM
  • ·Spot churn signals early and act before they bite
  • ·Build the playbooks and materials that make success repeatable

What we look for

  • ·4+ years in B2B SaaS customer success, account management or a similar role
  • ·Empathetic and genuinely data-aware: you manage by outcomes, not vibes
  • ·Comfortable owning renewals, retention and expansion
  • ·A strong communicator who can teach, reassure and challenge customers
  • ·Organised enough to build process where none exists

Bonus points

  • ·Experience as an early or founding customer-success hire
  • ·Background in procurement, bidding, or selling to operational teams
  • ·Comfort with lightweight CS tooling and analytics
